Lums Pond Animal Hospital is not equipped to handle emergencies 24/7. There are times when a trip to the Veterinary ER is necessary. Pet emergencies include such events as; hit by a car, trouble breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, ingesting toxic substances.
If your pet has an emergency, please call the hospital and we will do our best to accommodate you and your pet. Depending on the severity, or if your pet requires more intensive care than we can provide, you may be directed during business hours to the local ER.
